A colleague of mine walked up to me after-school the other day. I thought she was going to tell me a funny story or something because she had the biggest smile on her face. WRONG! As she came nearer she put out her hand to touch my stomach (what month does that become not weird?) and said, "You know what? From over there you can totally see your baby bump."
Ok, so this is supposed to be one of the most exciting moments of a pregnancy but I was like, "WHAT?!" (in my head of course). I was under the impression that bumps weren't noticeable until the second trimester. I laughed and explained to my colleague that it was probably a Christmas vacation food bump and not a baby bump (I left out the part about living off of Del Taco and In n Out for a week). Of course being the psycho girl I am sometimes my mind immediately started spinning, trying to determine the cause of this said bump. Many of my dearest girlfriends knew exactly what to say to a girl to make her feel better, "You were so skinny before. All skinny girls show bumps early." Ah, I love my friends.
Well, now I am ready for it to be a bump because at this point I don't feel pregnant at all. There is a little bit of second guessing whether or not I am even pregnant because I have very few symptoms. (I am in no way asking the pregnancy gods to bless me with morning sickness or any of that).
So here is the documentation for you to determine for yourself. My amazing photographer Kevin and I will take bump pictures every once and a while to keep everyone at home up to date. (That way when I walk off a plane in a few months I don't seem unexpectedly HUGE)
