Ode to Kittens
Cat pee. That is what we are dealing with here. I have had much experience with cat pee, but never cat pee like this. It isn't that it smells stronger, it actually has a sweet smell to it for some reason, it is that it is being released onto our bed. Yep, you heard me, our bed. I can hear your exclamations of shock and appall as you read this... "NO! Not the bed!" and "Ewwwwww!" or even "Oh no she didn't." Yes ladies and gentleman, she did. Little Zoe christened our bed not once, not twice, but three times. If that was not bad enough, this has resulted in a half-deranged husband who has spent far more time in the laundry room and researching how to wash a down comforter than he has been comfortable with since his days working a Bed, Bath and Beyond. See, I think it is a psychological thing for him as well because every time Zoe has done it it has practically been right in front of him. Plus, what do you do when the cutest fuzzball on Earth is uprooting your life and your sheets every couple of hours? Wish us luck as we embark on our mission across Manhattan as we search to find the cure for our sheets (and my husband).
