New Addition to the Family!!!

I know it was extremely mean to choose that as the title of this blog posting when it has nothing to do what-so-ever with having a baby. Sorry guys... not quite there yet.

Anyway, we wanted to show everyone the new kitty we are adopting from our super (in New York, this word refers to the man who runs your apartment building.) 

I was just minding my business and folding my laundry in the basement laundry-room this afternoon when our super came in and said, "Hey, I want to show you something." He led me to his storage room and inside was a cardboard box with three adorable 3 week old kittens that his cat had given birth to. SOOO cute! Kevin and I had been debating getting a friend for Emma anyway, so I saw this as a sign that it was meant to be.  I immediately text messaged Kevin and told him to meet me in the basement when he came home. When he saw the kittens, he was as in love as I was. We had some trouble choosing between the orange kitty and the black one. This cat will be Kevin's so he got to pick. He liked the black one because it was a bit more spunky. She is a girl who is yet to be named. As we all know with Kevin's naming tastes (Andronicus anyone?) be prepared for something very unique!
