Month 7

This was the most eventful month yet! Quentin has hit the accelerator in his development and I can barely keep up. Basically, our son thinks he is a year old but he is only 7 months. He wants to walk and stand all of the time, but he just can't do it independently. Quentin can now...
1) Crawl (army crawl, but it still counts)
2) Drink from a straw
3) Hold his own cup
4) Bite with his two new teeth!
5) Poop in the potty (he has now done it 4 times, almost once a day)
6) Pull himself up
7) Eating all kinds of solid foods. Sweet potatoes and avocados are his favorite. He just tried chicken for the first time this weekend.
On top of all that, he has started going to daycare full time while I am working a 6 week substitute position. It's been a big adjustment but as Kevin says, it's been harder on me than it has been on Q. So I am currently working four jobs and spending every waking second I can with Quentin. I get up at 5am so that I am dressed and ready for the day by the time he wakes up so I can spend the morning with him. I hope this next six weeks goes quickly. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that I get a permanent teaching position out of this six week substitute position. It is at an online independent study charter school so I could potentially teach from home. I never dreamed I could work from home because I didn't know schools like this existed. It would be amazing! Quentin is loving daycare. He loves socializing with the other kiddos and one of the little boys has volunteered to be his big brother. It is adorable. The ladies that run the daycare are awesome (thanks for helping me find them Lauren!) and they are hoping I get a full-time job so they can keep Q around. They love him, but who doesn't?
So this is going to be a crazy month and I apologize in advance if I disappear a bit. Surprisingly (or not if you know me pretty well) I am handling all of this pretty well. I thrive off stress. I do miss spending all day with my baby boy but I get him all to myself again as of April 14th. Yay!
Here are pictures and video of Quentin's latest developments...

You are super mom girl! I only hope I am as organized and on top of everything, like you are, when I become a mommy! I am glad the day care is working out! Love you guys!

And, yes, everyone thinks Q is so adorable! :)

Holy moly, that last video might be the cutest thing I've ever seen! He's like one big smile. So awesome.

I am impressed that you are getting him potty trained already. We really need to make a play date before we move (which could be this summer).
